Valencia Davis
Mrs. Davis is an alumnae of Arkansas State University (ASU), Jonesboro where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in History (1991) and a Masters of Arts in History (1993) before participating in the Arkansas Department of Education Alternative Teaching Credential Program to earn her single subject teaching credential. Mrs. Davis has been with the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) since 1999. She began her teaching career in 1993 as a social studies teacher at the Crawfordsville High School District, in Crawfordsville, Arkansas. In 1999, she joined the staff of Loara High School as a social studies teacher. In addition to her various teaching roles and duties, Mrs. Davis has served as a BTSA support provider and as a Lesson Design Coach. In 2002-2003 and 2010-2011, Mrs. Davis was recognized as Loara High School’s Teacher of the Year. She was also recognized as an AUHSD teacher of the year in 2010-2011. Currently, Mrs. Davis enjoys supporting students in making their college dreams come true as the AVID site coordinator for Loara High School.
